Haselor School recently raised over £250.00 for The ARC-Addington Fund at their annual school Harvest Festival and Auction. Auctioneer Mr. Roger Wyatt, from estate and land agents, Margetts in Warwick said, "This was a happy Harvest celebration. Children, parents and even grandparents put together an impressive display of cakes, breads, jams, baskets of vegetables and fruit. Much of the produce had either been grown or baked at home -  a lot by the children themselves." Eager supporters crammed into the school hall to watch all 99 pupils at the school perform a harvest themed show before the auction. Two hours later a fantastic £510 had been raised which was split between the Fund and the school. The biggest single sale item, in every respect was a 28kilo home grown pumpkin which raised an enormous £21 on its own. In addition to the produce sold, over a dozen baskets of harvest goodies were delivered to local senior citizens and grand parents. (Taken from the Stratford Herald)

Give or Take is a new way to shop online that allows you to earn cash back for yourself or a charity of your choice when you shop online. When you buy products online from an advert on a website, the website displaying the advert earns a referral fee for that sale.  Give or Take have chosen to pass that referral fee onto you. When you go to any online shop through a link on their site, all of your purchases are tracked. They turn the referral fee from that sale into cash back for you, which you can choose to either give to charity or take for yourself. Donations can be made to the ARC-Addington Fund. British Food Fortnight: This year, to coincide with British Food fortnight, ARC-Addington held a Food & Farm Praise  event at Kingston Farm, Harbury by kind permission of Mr BE Merriman, Mr M J Thwaites and LB Thwaites Farms. The day started with farm walks and the Fund would like to convey its thanks to Alistair Brooks for the welcome he gave everyone who attended.  We finished with a splendid Harvest Service led by Graham Jones, National Rural Officer URC and Methodist Church with guest preacher Rt Rev Colin Bennetts, Bishop of Coventry. The Fund would like to thank all the sponsors on the day and the stall holders whose attendance was greatly appreciated.
