Following hard on the heels of Revd Dagmar Winter running the Great North Run is Martin Redfearn-in his boat!  Martin and two colleagues, assisted by a battery-powered dog, are attempting to row 200 miles along the River Thames from Lechlade to Windsor.  More details on martinredfearn

Fundraising

The Fund is adamant that all administrative and property maintenance costs be met out of income from the properties. This ensures that all donations will go directly towards another property purchase. When that is no longer required, it will be sold and the money made available for another applicant. This ensures the Fund builds a sustainable, asset-based portfolio that will remain in perpetuity.

How can you help?

All donations are very welcome. The Fund’s success has been based on the power of numerous small donations. If you make a donation to the Fund and you are a UK taxpayer, please consider making a Gift Aid declaration. This enables the Fund to reclaim an extra 28% at no expense to you. Legacies: By leaving a gift in your will you can reduce your inheritance tax liability. If you would like more information on legacies, either of money or property, please contact the Fund.

Standing Order: It is easy to set up a regular donation and if you can boost this by completing a Gift Aid declaration we can claim a further 28% on your regular giving. Please get in touch.

Charitable Trusts: For many of the families we help their only other option of 'suitable accommodation' is bed & breakfast while they wait many months for local authority housing to become available. Supporting our Strategic Rural Housing Scheme will give families the opportunity to continue to be part of a community they have been supporting before they found themselves having to consider the upheaval of moving their family to hostel accommodation.
