Give a Little, Make a Lot
This scheme is run in conjunction with the Livestock Auctioneers Association, and aims to both raise funds and emphasise the social and economic importance of livestock markets. If you sell animals at auction, you can opt to have a very small deduction made on each sale (5p per sheep and 25p for cattle). This is then collected from each vendor and sent by your auctioneer to the Fund. The Fund’s success has been built on the power of numerous small donations - this scheme echoes that.
