Trustees’ Discretionary Fund

The Trustees’ Discretionary Fund is a small fund within the ARC-Addington Fund. It exists to help viable farming businesses with a grant, normally up to a maximum of £2000 when that business experiences financial hardship due to unforeseen and unexpected circumstances and it has no other means of short term support. Examples of what we may be able to help with include a sudden illness where paying extra staff may be a problem; extreme weather which has caused irreparable damage to crops or livestock or certain animal diseases which prevent you from moving or selling your stock. We regret that we cannot help with everyday normal running costs such as feed and fertiliser bills etc. which mount up due to low commodity prices.  Please either phone the office or email us if you are unsure as to whether your situation qualifies. Your call will be treated in strict confidence by staff who understand farming matters. Tel 02476 690587 or email
